Clamps
For standard-duty and heavy-duty applications
Brennan’s new pipe clamp lines are designed to lessen vibration, provide rigid support and prevent loosening of joints and welds in many installations. Brennan Pipe Clamps, with their unique 4-rib design, prevent vibration transmission pipe-to-frame and frame-to pipe. They also support the pipe in both vertical and horizontal directions. This support relieves the stress caused by unequal movements in the pipeline.
Pipe clamp materials can differ depending on working conditions. Different materials are available for temperatures ranging from cold to extreme heat over 1000° F.
STANDARD-DUTY PIPE CLAMPS
Standard-Duty Pipe Clamps are used in installations that have average loading with relatively light vibration within the system. These pipe clamps are ideal for machine and tool applications, as well as for instrumentation piping.
Standard-Duty Pipe Clamps are only available for pipe sizes up to 2" O.D.
HEAVY-DUTY PIPE CLAMPS
Brennan Heavy-Duty Pipe Clamps are used in installations where heavier pipe and higher vibrations exist. They are typically used for trench piping layouts exposed to a variety of weather conditions.
Both weld-plate and channel-mounting designs are available for applications where heavy vibration and loading are eident. Heavy-Duty Clamps with polypropylene bodies are available for pipe sizes up to 8" O.D.
Brennan Heavy-Duty Pipe Clamps are also available in vertical mounting and horizontal multi-clamp arrangement, either back-to-back or as a twin-pipe assembly on a single weld plate.
EFFICIENT SOLUTIONS
Both Standard-Duty and Heavy-Duty Pipe Clamps are offered in other mounting forms for compact, efficient piping where the installation has multiple lines stacked vertically or horizontally. They can both be used in horizontal back-to-back mounting where excessive vibration is encountered.
